Did you recently learn that your four-legged family member needs surgery?

Finding out that your pet will need an operation can be nerve wracking. You want to be assured that your loved one will be in good hands at all times. At A-Animal Clinic and Boarding, we want to take the worry out of your companion’s surgery. We offer a wide variety of surgical care services, from routine spays and neuters to more complex procedures. Most importantly, all of our surgeries are performed using modern equipment and techniques, with extra attention given to patient comfort and safety.

First and foremost, we take our surgical preparation very seriously. This includes pre-operative testing and the development of a customized pain management plan. By being proactive and planning ahead, we can avoid potential complications and make the entire process go much more smoothly.

The morning of your pet’s scheduled procedure, we will be ready to greet you both and begin the check-in process. Your loved one will be ushered in and made as comfortable as possible while we answer any last minute questions you may have. By the time you’re ready to leave, we want your mind to be at ease knowing that your furry friend will be in excellent hands!

Just prior to surgery, we will prepare your pet by administering the anesthesia and gently soothing him or her into safe sedation. In the surgical area, the doctor will proceed with great precision, paying careful attention to detail. Our experienced support staff will be on hand to assist with the procedure and keep careful watch over your companion’s wellbeing at all times. Rest assured that while asleep, we will closely monitor your pet with our progressive equipment, including a pulse oximeter, EKG, and blood pressure system.

Finally, pain management is essential to a speedy recovery. We use only the safest and most advanced forms of pain relief post-operatively. We will go over our after-care instructions with you when you arrive to pick up your pet. Once you’ve returned home, should any questions or concerns arise, we encourage you to contact us. Help is just a phone call away.

Surgery doesn’t have to be a source of anxiety. You can feel confident trusting our team with the care of your four-legged family member.
